This handy little skinning knife is 5" long overall, and has a 2-1/2" long, 1" wide blade. The 1095 hi carbon steel blade is 1/16" thick, etched much like a damascus steel blade, except the steel forms a random pattern. The 2-3/4" long handle is made from curly maple scales and stained with a maple stain which brings out the wood's natural curl. The handle is retained by five solid brass pins.
